HOW WE
PUBLISH.
Useful content, clear relationships and a straightforward distinction between editorial and paid placements.
Useful to the reader
Articles should answer a practical question or explain something clearly. We review a proposed topic and destination website before accepting a sponsorship. Payment does not give a sponsor control over unrelated articles or recommendations.
Paid relationships are disclosed
A paid article or feature is labelled Sponsored on its blog listing and near the beginning of the article. The disclosure names the sponsor. When an existing article gains a paid sponsor, we add a visible disclosure and distinguish the sponsor message from the guide.
Paid links are marked
Links to a sponsor in a paid placement use the sponsored link attribute. We do not sell unlabelled paid links or promise ranking credit. Ordinary editorial links remain separate from paid placements.
Editorial review stays with Nostedt
Sponsors can review agreed brand details and factual statements before publication. Nostedt retains editorial judgment. Claims need support, and a sponsorship does not buy a positive verdict or an endorsement we cannot substantiate.
Scope is agreed in writing
A sponsorship proposal specifies the deliverables, placement period, review rounds, timing, usage rights and price. Search rankings, audience size, clicks and leads are not guaranteed. We do not promise permanent placement.
Corrections and questions
If you spot a factual error or have a question about a paid relationship, email cam@nostedt.com with the page URL and the detail you want us to review. For a new collaboration, see the sponsorship options.
